TEAM 2191
FIRST Team 2191: Flux Core was founded in the 2006-2007 year by Mr. Scott Innocenzi, a teacher in technology at Nottingham High School in Hamilton, New Jersey. For the past eight years, the team has been developing our scientific and technological knowledge as well as incorporating the principals of FIRST in our hard work. Our team is open to all who wish to join, as we understand that technology emphasizes development in all fields of study, from the mechanics of building our robots to promoting the FIRST message in our community.
We meet daily and separate into two main groups: the Build Team and the Media Team. Build Team members work on the design and execution of the robot itself. They do many things from creating gearboxes to building the practice field to programming the robot. The Media Team works on methods on promoting the team as well as the FIRST message, through social communications, school events, and web design. Ultimately, Team 2191 acts as one big machine, working hard to challenge and prove ourselves to the FIRST community.
